Planning for sustainable urban water systems in adapting to a changing climate - a case study in Can Tho City Vietnam, synthesis report

[摘要] The Climate Adaptation through Sustainable Urban Development Project aimed to build local capacity for communities in the Mekong Delta to adapt to the impacts of climate change.It has focussed on issues associated with planning for improved access to clean water supply and adequate sanitation.The framework developed and applied in the project supports investment and planning decisions to improve the accessibility of communities to clean water and sanitation. Through the project there has been development of the local capacity to manage the impacts of urban development and climate change, for the improvement of environment and livelihood.This report provides a summary of achievements, major findings and future recommendations. More detailed information can be found in the respective project publications listed in the end of this report.
