HCAS Activity 3a(1): Environmental Space Modelling – Methods Document

[摘要] This document summarises the research activities undertaken as part of HCAS Activity 3a(1): Environmental Space Modelling. It originates from a review of the HCAS v1.0 system from a statistical perspective by various scientists from CSIRO Data61. Some general aspects of the HCAS methodology are discussed in detail, while other areas of potential future focus are identified. The Environmental Space Modelling part of the HCAS framework is then addressed more specifically, with a discussion of possible alternative statistical methods available for this component. The document then provides results from preliminary analyses, and subsequently, a detailed description of the implementation steps for the algorithm selected as part of the HCAS v2.0 framework.The methodology and key findings resulting from this work have become part of the final HCAS report to the Department of the Environment and Energy.
