CMSE contribution to the Australian nanoparticle comparison 2012

[摘要] The section Nanometrology of the National Measurement Institute organises in 2012 a nation wide Particle Size Laboratory Comparison. The project aims to highlight strengths and weaknesses of different particle sizing techniques. This document report CSME contribution to the comparison exercise. The gold nanoparticle solutions provided by NMI have been analysed using two different techniques: SEM and STEM. The study was perform on the Carl Zeis Auriga located on the Lindfield CMSE site, which allows the deployment on the SEM and STEM sensor simultanously. The measurements have been made on images of the same areas. The results of the two methods are compared and their limitation discussed.
