Fluorescence and Infrared Spectroscopy of inclusion oil
[摘要] An effective study of the petroleum inclusion assemblage trapped in cements of a petroleum reservoir sample requires a characterisation of the attributes of the petroleum inclusion. Those attributes are typically the fluorescence colour of the oil, the size of the bubble at 20 °C, the presence of water with oil in the inclusion chamber. Those attributes are visual and can be simply acquire by observation under the microscope. Spectroscopy techniques can be used as a non-destructive way to reveal chemical information on the fluid trapped in single inclusions not directly observable. This report presents the application of UV-visible fluorescence and Fourier Transform Infrared (FT-IR) spectroscopy techniques to petroleum inclusions and the chemical data generated.
