[摘要] The manuscript reports on activities undertaken over the 3 years the project "Capitalising on perennial forages suited to the WA South Coast to reduce methane emission intensity".This project provides farmers with results from the on-farm demonstration of methods of reducing methane emissions through the use of a variety of perennial grazing systems compared to the annual “business as usual” pasture system found on the South Coast. Information generated will enable farmers to make informed management decisions that will improve productivity, increase efficiency and bottom line profit while ensuring that methane emission intensities from their enterprise are maintained or reduced. A technical report is also in preparation.
