Checking for ChangeThe science behind practical monitoring of ecological improvement

[摘要] This report provides a description of the science behind thecompanion document ‘Checking for Change: a practical guide to checking whether sites newly managed for conservation are on track to improve‘, available at http://tinyurl.com/checking4change, and supported by the citizen science functions of BioCollect (www.ala.org.au/biocollect).At the time of publication of this report, manuscripts for scientific journals were in various stages of preparation and review and not yet publicly available.Thus, this report was developed as a way to give users of the monitoring guide direct access to a basic description of the original research that was used to develop this new monitoring approach.
