Analysis of South Australia's environmental water and water quality requirements and their delivery under the Guide to the proposed Basin

[摘要] This technical report is an assembly of project reports, which were delivered to fulfil the reporting requirements of the Goyder Basin Plan Review Project for South Australia. The report is composed of the following sections:•Section 1: Key messages from the assessment, taken from the Synthesis Report;•Section 2: A description of the treatment of Environmental Water Requirements (EWRs) in the Guide to the Proposed Basin Plan, undertaken in project 2.1.3;•Section 3: A review of EWRs that have been defined for key environmental asset sites in South Australia, and assessment of these against modelled without-development and baseline modelled data (CSIRO Sustainable Yields) , undertaken in project 2.1.3;•Section 4: An assessment of MDBA and other EWRs against the Guide to the Proposed Basin Plan (or Guide) modelled data (MDBA), undertaken in project 2.1.5.This report does not consider the operation of regulators or locks in manipulating water levels of Riverland-Chowilla. As the asset is a hydrological indicator site, the provision of flows is intended to meet the SA environmental water requirements in their entirety, not just localised requirements. Operation of locks and the regulator are also out of scope for this report.
