Matching plants and land : development of a general broadscale system from a crop project for Papua New Guinea

[摘要] This report describes an approach to semi-quantitative description of plant/environment relationships and their use for estimating plant performance at nominated locations. The research was prompted by an agricultural land evaluation project for Papua New Guinea, but the methodsdeveloped seem likely to be applicable to species other than crops.
