Towards Personalisation of Welfare Services: A Synopsis of Project 1.1: Supporting Investment Decisions 2009–2012.

[摘要] CSIRO's Supporting Investment Decisions project commenced in 2009 under Centrelink before it merged with Medicare and the Child Support Program to become the Australian Government Department of Human Services. Through a series of meetings with Centrelink staff, university academics, relevant experts and policy agencies staff the research scope was defined. The project aimed to build the metrics, evaluation systems and decision tools to help staff from Centrelink make wiser choices about how, when and where to deploy resources to achieve better outcomes for Australia through the delivery of welfare services. The research has demonstrated that, in addition to the policy and program being delivered, the nature of the service delivery has a profound and significant impact on the outcomes attained.
