Foresight for the Plastics and Chemicals Industry: Interviews with key stakeholders - Final Report

[摘要] Interviews with key stakeholders were designed to help validate the megatrends and transitional pathways developed by CSIRO as part of the Foresight for the Plastics and Chemicals Industry project. Key stakeholders were identified and contact details provided by the Plastics and Chemicals Industry Association (PACIA). A total of twenty-six (26) telephone interviews were undertaken. Industry stakeholders were the predominant stakeholder group represented however interviews were also undertaken with representatives from government, NGO’s and academics/researchers. Interview data were analysed to identify whether or not the interviewees agreed with each drafted mega-trend and associated transition pathway. Any additional trends and pathways or suggestions for change were also noted and reported. Finally, data were analysed to capture the range of opportunities and challenges that interviewees referred to when discussing each megatrend and transition pathway.
