WaterML2.0 part 2 interoperability experiment: architecture report

[摘要] This report outlines architecture options for operation of the OGC RatingsGaugings Interoperability Experiment(IE). It gives a short overview of the existing state of publishing ratings and gauging data on the web; outlines the key use cases and requirements for data exchange; describes potential web service implementation options; contrasts a number of design approaches and identifies some outstanding technical challenges; and describes implementation options for the handling the US practice of rating shifts. This report will set the baseline for the IE operation, as well as being the basis for a final engineering report on the IE design.
