Characterising fisheries of the Torres StraitTreaty Villages, Papua New Guinea

[摘要] Between 2011 and 2014 AFMA and the PNG NFAfunded CSIRO to investigate the status of smallscalefisheries, livelihoods and food securityin the Papua New Guinea villages borderingthe Torres Strait of Australia. These ‘Treatyvillages’ share marine resources with Australiain a Protected Zone managed under the TorresStrait Treaty. Trends were analysed by makingcomparisons with data collected by CSIRO in 1995
