Ten tips for Local Government on: How to Undertake a Vulnerability Assessment

[摘要] There is an increasing demand to know the nature of climate change impacts, whether action is required, what form action should take and how communities should manage their ongoing adaptation.Vulnerability assessments are increasingly being seen as a process to help answer questions around what the impacts are and what we should do about them.However, there has been little examination of what they actually provide at the end of day and whether or how they help achieve stakeholder goals.This paper identifies 10 key things for local councils to remember when undertaking a vulnerability assessment to ensure assessments achieve outcomes beyond the life of the project.
