Electric Driveway: Focus Groups on User Preferences

[摘要] Two focus groups were conducted in Melbourne with members of the general public, to discuss their knowledge and impressions of electric vehicles and their potential integration with household electricity consumption (the electric driveway). This report summarises the findings of these focus groups.The focus groups were conducted in order to:•Identify potential drivers and barriers associated with the uptake of electric vehicles, and the uptake of integrating electric vehicles with household energy management technology.•Identify common misconceptions and unresolved questions amongst the lay public about these products/systems.•Inform the development of a quantitative survey of these issues, designed to gather such information from a wider sample.
