Groundwater Quality Assessment Plan for Single-Shell Tank Waste Management Area U at the Hanford Site

[摘要] Specific conductance in one of the downgradient well exceeded its background value during the fourth quarter of FY 1999, triggering an upgrade from detection monitoring to a groundwater quality assessment program. This document presents the investigatory approach to be used for the assessment program. The objective of the first phase of the assessment program is to make the first determination to determine whether the WMA is the source of dangerous waste or dangerous waste constituents in the groundwater.
