S816, S817, and S818 Airfoils: October 1991--July1992

[摘要] A family of thick laminar-flow airfoils for 30 to 40-meter horizontal-axis wind turbines, the S816, S817, and S818, has been designed and analyzed theoretically. The primary objectives of restrained maximum lift, insensitive to roughness, and low profile drag have been achieved. The constraints on the pitching moments and airfoil thicknesses have been satisfied.
