[摘要] A letter report issued by the General Accounting Office with an abstract that begins "Pursuant to a congressional request, GAO reviewed the Medicaid managed care services for children with special needs, focusing on the: (1) extent to which states are enrolling children with special needs, as defined by the Balanced Budget Act (BBA), in capitated managed care plans; and (2) scope and effectiveness of the safeguards states are implementing to ensure that children with special needs receive appropriate care within Medicaid managed care."
