Metal alkoxides: templates for organometallic chemistry and catalysis. Final technical report on DE FG 02-86ER13570

[摘要] The physical properties and chemical reactivities of a series of alkoxide, fluoroalkoxide and thiolate compounds of molybdenum and tungsten having M{triple_bond}M or M{triple_bond}N bonds have been examined which reveal the influence of the pi-donor properties of the ligands: RO > R{sub f}O{approx}RS. Single-site metal alkoxide catalysts for the ring-opening polymerization of lactides have been prepared for the metals magnesium, zinc, and aluminum.
