A reproducible and low-cost piezoelectric droplet generator

[摘要] This thesis presents the design for a piezoelectric droplet generator capable of producing highly repeatable droplets ranging from 0.60 mm to 1.60 mm in diameter. The generator is low cost, simple to fabricate, and easily reproducible for use in other fluids experiments. A series of experiments were conducted to investigate the effects of various operating parameters on the droplet generation process, and high speed imaging techniques were used to capture and analyze droplet diameter data.
