The publication contains papers presented at the Second International Workshop on Biomonitoring of Atmospheric Pollution (with emphasis on trace elements) - BioMAP II. There are 40 papers addressing goals and quality assessment of biomonitoring surveys, the applicability of bio-organisms in both qualitative and quantitative senses, response modelling, the use of multi-element analytical techniques, interpretation of results for specific pollutants, and the use of appropriate statistical tools for detailed data interpretation.
