A homological fibration for Gl(infinity)

[摘要] Given a finite degree field extension E \ F of nonfinite fields we show homologically BGl(E) can be viewed as the total space of fibration with fibre BGl(F). Associated with this fibration is a spectral sequence relating the homology of stable linear groups over field extensions. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
