Embedding noetherian rings in artinian rings

[摘要] A criterion is presented which is easy to check in specific examples and provides information as to when a given noetherian ring is not embeddable in an artinian one. On the other hand, we provide sufficient conditions for artinian embeddability of several types of noetherian rings that have no nontrivial right ideals of reduced rank zero.
