(p,q,r)-generations and nX-complementary generations of the sporadic groups HS and McL

[摘要] An (l,m,n)-generated group G is a quotient group of the triangle group T(l,m,n) = [x,y,z\x(l) = y(m) = z(n) = xyz = 1]. In this paper the authors continue the study on the (p,q,r)-generations and nX-complementary generations of the sporadic simple groups, where p, q, r are distinct primes. The problem is resolved for the groups HS and McL. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
