THE LENGTH OF CHAINS IN ODD CHARACTERISTIC LIE TYPE-GROUPS

[摘要] In this work we investigate finite groups of Lie type in which no subgroup chain of greatest length contains a parabolic subgroup. For Lie type groups of odd characteristic p, p less-than-or-equal-to 29, we determine a complete list of such groups. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
