ON THE EPSILON-ENTROPY OF NEARLY CRITICAL-VALUES

[摘要] Let f be a C(k)-mapping into R(m), restricted to a compact subset of R(n). We compute an upper bound on the epsilon-entropy of the nearly critical values. This refines some results of Yomdin. The bound depends only on dimensions, the differentiability degree k, and estimates of the norms of the first and kth derivative of f. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
