THERMOCHEMISTRY OF THE ACTINIDES

[摘要] The measurement of equilibria by Knudsen effusion techniques and the enthalpy of formation of the actinide atoms are briefly discussed. Thermochemical data on the sublimation of the actinide fluorides are used to calculate the enthalpies of formation and entropies of the gaseous species. Estimates are made for enthalpies and entropies of the tetrafluorides and trifluorides for those systems where data is not available. The pressure of important species in the tetrafluoride sublimation processes is calculated based on this thermochemical data.
