ROW methods adapted to electric circuit simulation packages
[摘要] Many packages for time-domain simulation of electric circuits supply the Jacobian with every function evaluation at very low additional costs. We adapt ROW (Rosenbrock-Wanner) methods to use this additional information more efficiently. The order conditions are derived by techniques of Butcher series with special regard to the different stability behaviour of the new class of methods. Numerical results for the ring oscillator benchmark example are discussed for an embedded method of order (3)4 with only three stages and two function/Jacobian evaluations.
