Existence of optimal solution for exponential model by least squares

[摘要] In this paper we prove the existence theorem for the best least squares approximation of the optimal parameters for the exponential model function. We give sufficient conditions which guarantee the existence of such optimal parameters. Using these results and methods, we are able to localize a sufficiently narrow area where one can choose a good initial approximation.
