Expansion of multivariate polynomials in products of univariate orthogonal polynomials: discrete case

[摘要] We present a method to develop multivariate polynomials in multiple series of products of univariate classical orthogonal polynomials of a discrete variable. The method is based on the ability to apply difference operators on such series in order to generate recurrence relations for the expansion coefficients like in the one-variable case.
