A NURBS transition between a Bezier curve and its control polygon

[摘要] We present a method for generating a one-parameter family of curves that produce a smooth transition between a Bezier curve and its control polygon. These curves have rational Bezier spline and NURBS representations. The method is also furnished with local shape control features. The procedure can be extended to tensor product Bezier surfaces.
