MODELING OF LOCAL-EFFECTS BY HYBRID-DISPLACEMENT FE

[摘要] Local effects generated by large gradients of known and unknown intensity are included in the hybrid displacement formulation. This formulation enables very fine meshes in regions with large gradients to be avoided. The elements are compatible with isoparametric elements and, therefore, can be added to FE programs without difficulties.
