ON THE STABILITY BEHAVIOR OF SYSTEMS OBTAINED BY INDEX-REDUCTION
[摘要] Index-reduction may destabilize the asymptotic stability of stationary solutions. We analyze in some detail how index-reduction via an artificial Lagrangian multiplier as well as the Baumgarte method behaves.
