Algebraic K-theory of operator rings

[摘要] We produce small Bott rings of operators on an infinite dimensional separable complex Hilbert space. We also establish comparison results for negative algebraic and topological K-groups of Banach algebras. In our arguments we utilize two concepts that we introduce: of an algebra graded by a semilattice, and of a secant extension of algebras. (C) 2019 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
