Generalizing the recursion relationship for the partition function

[摘要] The known recursion relationship for the partition function p(n) which represents the number of partitions of the positive integer n is exhibited as the limit as g --> infinity in one identity and as the case 1 substituted for y in a second formula that arise From a matrix problem over the field of q elements.
