The zero relaxation limit for the hydrodynamic Whitham traffic flow model

[摘要] We study the relaxation problem for a hyperbolic system of balance laws which models the traffic flow. In particular we show, as the relaxation parameter tends to zero, away from the vacuum, the strong convergence to the equilibrium solution, which satisfies Kruzkov-type entropy conditions.
