A boundary value problem for the Poisson equation with multi-scale oscillating boundary

[摘要] The paper is concerned with the homogenization problem for the Poisson equation in a domain, a part of whose boundary is rapidly oscillating according to several scales. Such a problem arises in the processing of devices with very small features, such as semiconductors. We construct ''homogenized'' boundary layers and use them to establish effective approximation to thr solution. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
