SOME REMARKS ON COMMON FIXED-POINT THEOREMS

[摘要] In this paper we prove a fixed common point theorem for the pair of mappings satisfying both the Branch contraction principle and Caristi's condition in a complete metric space. We also investigate the class of compatible mappings and establish some fixed point theorems for these mappings on the Meir-Keeler condition. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
