FIXED-POINT ITERATIONS FOR CERTAIN NONLINEAR MAPPINGS

[摘要] In a recent paper Schu established the convergence of the Mann iterates of a completely continuous asymptotically nonexpansive mapping on a Hilbert space. In this paper we extend the result of Schu to uniformly convex spaces. We also obtain the same generalization for the Ishikawa iteration process. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
