Oscillation and nonoscillation for second order linear differential equations

[摘要] New oscillation and nonoscillation theorems are obtained for the second order linear differential equation u '' + p(t)u = 0, where p(t) is an element of C[0, infinity) and p(t) greater than or equal to 0. Conditions only about the integrals of p(t) on every interval [2(n)t(0),2(n+1)t(0)] (n = 1, 2, ...) for some fixed t(0) > 0 are used in the results. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
