Upper and lower solution method and a singular boundary value problem for the one-dimensional p-Laplacian
[摘要] The singular boundary value problem for all (Phi (u'))' = -g(t, u), for all t is an element of (0, 1), u(0) = u(1) = 0, is studied in this paper with Phi (s) = \s\(p-2)s, p > 1. The singularity may appear at u = 0, t = 0, and t = 1, and the function g may change sign. The existence of solutions is obtained via an upper and lower solution method. (C) 2000 Academic Press.
