[摘要] The paper ''Stability of Stratified Shear Flows'' by R. K. Jain and G. T. Kochar (J. Math. Anal. Appl. 96, 1983, 269-282) has been studied. During the course of study it has been realized that Lemmas 2 and 3 are misinterpreted and restricted in nature. Hence comments are proposed in this direction. (C) 1994 Academic Press, Inc.
