Applications of the minimum modulus function in operator algebras

[摘要] The minimum modulus function is well known as a tool of quantitative estimates of the allowable size of perturbations of Fredholm and semi-Fredholm operators in Banach spaces. Here we discuss the possibility of similar results in the setting of Operator algebras. (C) 1997 Academic Press.
