AN OBSERVATION IN ACROSCLEROSIS USING THE GALVANIC SKIN RESPONSE
[摘要] Two patients with acrosclerosis were tested with a sweat stimulating and sweat inhibiting drug and their galvanic skin response was similar to a control. This would indicate that they had normal sweat gland function despite the atrophic changes seen in their biopsy studies. Observations suggest that histopathologic findings are not always an accurate indication of the functional state of sweat glands. Further studies in this and related diseases are indicated to determine whether the present findings are common or not.
