USE OF SYSTEMIC TETRACYCLINE AND ULTRAVIOLET IN PSORIASIS - A PRELIMINARY REPORT

[摘要] Six patients with psoriasis and a control group of 5 patients with acne vulgaris with marked seborrhea were examined for fluorescence of the skin under Wood''s light after the administration of tetracycline systemically. The lesion in only one psoriatic patient showed fluorescence after removal of the scale. This procedure is not useful as a diagnostic aid in psoriasis.
