AMOUNT OF ASCORBIC ACID IN NORMAL EPIDERMIS

[摘要] The amount of ascorbic acid of the epidermis varied from 5.41 to 13.40 mg/100 g wet weight; the amount in the dermis varied from .18 mg to 7.00 mg/100 g wet weight. All specimens consistently evinced more ascorbic acid in the epidermis than in the dermis.
