OBSERVATIONS ON SUBMERGED GROWTH AND DEAMINATION OF AMINO ACIDS BY DERMATOPHYTES
[摘要] A number of superficial dermatophytes grow rapidly in submerged culture and produce certain of the morphological features of surface growth. Most of the dermatophytes in this study rapidly produced NH3 from a number of amino acids. Ammonia production was most rapid around neutrality and was stopped around pH 4.5.
