SOME NEWER BASES FOR USE IN CUTANEOUS THERAPY

[摘要] Study of 3 ointment bases and their usefulness in various diseases: Carbowax compounds are useful in derma-tophytosis; they are good solvents for fatty acids and soaps and can be used on fissured and denuded areas. Bentonite gels should not be used in wounds or in intertrigos. They have a certain distinct advantage of being not greasy or sticky. Carnauba wax cerate is useful for active ingredients, soluble in oil.
