EXPERIMENTAL SENSITIZATION OF GUINEA-PIGS TO 1-HYDRAZINOPHTHALAZINE - WITH A DISCUSSION ON THE USE OF GUINEA-PIGS FOR THE FORECAST OF CLINICAL SENSITIZATIONS
[摘要] Intradermal injections of guinea-pigs with 1-hydrazinophthalazine regularly produces generalized skin sensitizations of the delayed type. This sensitization crosses over only to very closely related hydrazines, but not to phenylhydrazine, normally a strong sensitizer. Pre-feeding of 1-hydrazinophthalazine induces in guinea-pigs a state of resistance against subsequent sensitization to this drug. No correlation exists between the results of these animal experiments and the incidence of sensitization occurring during therapeutic use of this substance.
