INFLUENCE OF ULTRABIOLET LIGHT ON PATCH TESTS
[摘要] Application of filtered (> 3200 A) and unfiltered (2900 to 3100 A) ultraviolet light to positive patch test sites in humans and in guinea pigs did not cause a visible increase of the reactions. Results do not support the assumption that positive photopatch tests in allergic photocontact dermatitis are only an expression of plain contact sensitivity intensified by light; they favor the hypothesis of the presence of a true allergic photocontact sensitivity.
