THE INHIBITION OF ERYTHEMA SOLARE IN THE NORMAL SUBJECT WITH PYRIBENZAMINE

[摘要] Pyribenzamine applied to the skin by iontophoresis (positive pole, aluminum electrode, 5% pyribenzamine in distilled water, 1/4 milliampere/square centimeter, 5 min.) protected the skin from ultraviolet erythema. This effect explained as an antihistaminic activity would indicate that erythema solare is dependent upon the action of the released histaminic substances into the tissue.
